VILLAGE OF SISTER BAY PLAN COMMISSION

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village of Sister Bay Plan Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Sister Bay-Liberty Grove Fire Station, 2258 Mill Road, Sister Bay, Wisconsin, to receive public comment regarding proposed amendments to the Village of Sister Bay Zoning Code.

The proposed amendments include:

Automotive Body and Mechanical Repair: Amendments concerning automotive body and mechanical repair uses, including classification as a conditional use in the B-1 District and standards relating to noise, fumes and ventilation, outdoor vehicle storage, and screening.

Fee-in-Lieu of Parking: Amendments to the Village's fee-in-lieu of parking provisions, including applicability within the B-2 and B-3 Districts and revisions to the method used to calculate the fee.

Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs): Amendments establishing and regulating accessory dwelling units, including where ADUs may be permitted and provisions relating to attached and detached ADUs, size, height, parking, and architectural compatibility.

Development Agreements: Amendment changing the period for execution of a development agreement following Village Board approval from six months to 45 days.

The Plan Commission may consider the proposed amendments following the public hearing and make a recommendation to the Village Board.

Written comments for the Plan Commission public hearing must be received by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2026.

The Village Board is anticipated to consider the proposed amendments at its meeting on Tuesday, November 17, 2026. Written comments intended for consideration by the Village Board should be submitted to the Village Clerk by Friday, November 13, 2026. All correspondence submitted by the deadlines will be entered into the record. Late submissions or anonymous correspondence will be disregarded. Correspondence can be mailed to P.O. Copies of the proposed amendments are available for review at the Village Administration Office, 2383 Maple Drive, Sister Bay, Wisconsin, during regular business hours and on the Village's website.

All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and be heard.
