To request an absentee ballot be mailed to you, please visit myvote.wi.gov and click on the tab for VOTE ABSENTEE. Follow the online instructions to verify your voter registration information and request a ballot. Ballots will be mailed at least 45 days prior to each election. If you are not at your primary residence, be sure to select the option stating you wish your ballot be mailed to a different address. This will prevent delays in your ballot being delivered as they do not qualify for automatic forwarding by the USPS.
Options for returning your absentee ballot are as follows:
Return via post. Ballot envelopes are postage-paid for you and can be simply dropped in the regular mail.
Return in-person. Ballots can be dropped off with village staff anytime between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM at the administration building (2383 Maple Dr) within the 2-week period leading up to election day. BALLOTS CAN ONLY BE PERSONALLY RETURNED TO THE VILLAGE CLERK BY THE INDIVIDUAL WHO REQUESTED IT. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR BALLOT WITH A NEIGHBOR OR IT WILL BE REJECTED.
Election Day Delivery – Please deliver your ballot to the fire station (2258 Mill Road) anytime between the hours of 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM on election day for processing.
