To request an absentee ballot be mailed to you, please visit myvote.wi.gov and click on the tab for VOTE ABSENTEE. Follow the online instructions to verify your voter registration information and request a ballot. Ballots will be mailed at least 45 days prior to each election. If you are not at your primary residence, be sure to select the option stating you wish your ballot to be mailed to a different address. This will prevent delays in your ballot being delivered as they do not qualify for automatic forwarding by the USPS.
Options for returning your absentee ballot are as follows:
Return via post. Ballot envelopes are postage-paid for you and can be simply dropped in the regular mail.
Return in-person. Ballots can be dropped off with village staff anytime between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM at the administration building (2383 Maple Dr).
Drop Box Available. If you cannot deliver your ballot between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, there is a drop box for your convenience located outside of the administration building’s front door. This box is checked daily, excluding weekends.
Election Day Delivery – Ballots may be deposited in the drop box at the administration building up to 7:00 PM on election day. This deadline will ensure that your ballot is picked up and delivered to the polling place by the close of polls that day. You may also deliver your ballot to the fire station (2258 Mill Road) anytime between the hours of 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM on election day for processing.
